Our shiney brass, pocket-door fixtures got a makeover this weekend with a can of antiqued-bronze-looking spray paint. Despite painters tape, the edges were still rough. I’ll have to take a toothpick and some paint thinner to my giant mess. But I do have to say, spray paint is still the best $2.59 I ever spent.

Here is the hardware now – needs another spray, but I think it’s going to look nice once I clean it up:
Cheap and fun. May end up relacing them, but for now they match the rest of the house.
